Kristen R. “Sunbeam” Stanton-Hoover, 44, of Newton Falls, formerly of Huntsburg, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. She was born on September 29, 1976 in Chardon, Ohio.
She faced many challenges throughout her life but met all of them with a positive attitude, living by the motto, Hakuna Matata. Kristen was a lover of animals, enjoyed fishing, reading, playing games on her phone, and found comfort in music. She often adopted dogs, huskies being her favorite. The dogs she rescued and loved were Chance, Reese, Serenity, Taylor, Daffy, Dixon, and Cirrus.
Kristen also attended culinary arts school at the University of Akron. She loved to bake and decorate cakes. She found the most joy in being a homemaker and caring for her children. Raising them meant everything to her.
She is survived by: her husband, Anthony Hoover; daughter, Erika (William Myers) Kovach; son, Christian Stanton; stepsons, Jacob and Macon Hoover; parents, Russell (Bonnie) Stanton and Sharon (Donald) Hall; sister, Anastasia (Snapper Baldridge) Hall; grandmother, Jeanie Stanton; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Kristen is proceeded in death by: her brother, Jason David Stanton; and grandparents, Mary and Leonard Morrison, and Calvin Stanton.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD AT 11:00 A.M., SATURDAY JUNE 5TH, 2021 AT ABUNDANDT LIFE CHURCH, 14662 OLD STATE RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH 44062 with Rev. Mike Continenza officiating. A luncheon will follow immediately following the service and all friends and family are invited to attend.
