Kenneth R. Armour

Kenneth “Ken” R. Armour, 70, of Bristolville, OH passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday evening, November 25th, 2020. He was born in Painesville, OH on October 26th, 1950 to the late Robert and Vivian (Orchard) Armour. Ken later married Bonnie Young on October 13th, 1979.

He was a retired welder and lifelong farmer who enjoyed making hay every season. Ken liked going camping with family and bike riding in the evenings with Bonnie. He was also an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan.

Ken’s greatest love of all though was spending time with his grandchildren. He always watched them get on and off the buses for school and attended nearly every sporting or other event they participated in. The grandchildren were his pride and joy and Ken cherished every moment he had with them.

He will be greatly missed by: his loving wife of 41 years, Bonnie; sons, Brian (Heather) Armour, Michael (Jennifer) Armour; daughter, Jennifer (Brandon) Williams; grandchildren, Briauna, Madison, Luke, Wesley, Joanna, Natalie; brothers, Larry (Kathi) Armour, Donald Armour, Dennis (Bettina) Armour, Bruce (Fran) Armour, Ricky (Christine) Armour, Glen Armour; sisters, Sandra (Larry) Goldman, Brenda (Ed) Saylor; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ken is preceded in death by: his parents, brothers, Carl Armour, Steve Armour; and sisters, Kathy Saylor, and Crystal Towner.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 6 P.M., WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 2ND, 2020 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH 44062. Ken will be laid to rest in Sager Cemetery in Bristolville on Thursday.
