Kenneth C. Kiehl, 95, of Middlefield, OH, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, September 9th, 2023 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. He was born in Redbank Twp, PA on November 17th, 1927 to the late Claude C. Kiehl and Iona R. Reichard.
Ken worked in the coal mines of Pennsylvania as a young man. He also was a diesel mechanic for the Cleveland Railroad and advanced to superintendent. He resided in many places around the country including Colarado Springs, Albuquerque, Eastlake, Willoughby and Middlefield Ohio being his final resting place. A very skilled man at many different genres. He was an artist, a musician, a gardener, a hunter and a fisherman.
He will be missed by many friends and family including: his children, Linda (Glenn) Larson, Larry Kiehl, Gary Kiehl, Calvin Kiehl, Vicky Grover, Patty (Mike)Herendeen; grandchildren, Jake Kiehl, Monica (Dustin) Mclaughlin, Patrick Ganim, Melissa Frasher, Katelyn Herendeen, Nichole Herendeen; and great-grandchildren, Tyler Forman, Isabelle Forman, Hunter Forman, Marlee Frasher, Haley McLaughlin, and Logan McLaughlin.
A private burial and memorial time is yet to be determined for family and friends.
