Katie M. (Yoder) Troyer

Katie M. Troyer (nee Yoder), 70, of Middlefield, Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, April 17th, 2024 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. She was born in Middlefield on April 12th, 2024 to Mahlon J. and Fannie (Detweiler) Yoder. Katie later married her best friend and love of her life, Daniel A. Troyer on November 2nd, 1972. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

She will be dearly missed by: her loving husband of 51 years, Daniel; children, Linda (Danny Jr.) Troyer; Rebecca (David) Fisher, Daniel (Shirley) Troyer Jr.,           David Troyer; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers; 3 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Katie is preceded in death by: her parents; 2 stillborn sons; 1 granddaughter; and son-in-law, John Weaver.                 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, SATURDAY, APRIL 20TH, 2024 AT 15724 NEWCOMB RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Minister Bob Byler officiating. Pallbearers will be Willis Miller, Nate Detweiler, John Miller, and John Paul Gingerich. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Katie’s final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, Ohio.
