Josiah J. Miller, 89, of Middlefield Twp, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, April 19th, 2021 at home and surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Windsor, OH on July 26th, 1931 to the late Jeremiah J. and Ada (Miller) Miller. Josiah is once again reunited with his loving wife of 63 years, Anna Mary U. Miller, who died on July 29th, 2015. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He will be missed by: his children, Martha Mae (Ervin) Byler, Allen (Kathryn) Miller, Edna (Andy) Fisher, Kathryn (Elmer) Glick, Alta (Eli) Byler, Susan Hershberger, Laura (Joseph) Detweiler; 49 grandchildren; 170 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Josiah is preceded in death by: his wife Anna Mary; parents; 1 grandchild; 3 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Vernon Hershberger; 1 brother; and 4 sisters.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, APRIL 21ST, 2021 AT 17359 BURTON WINDSOR RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Jonathan A. Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Allen Miller, Martin Miller, Chester Miller, and Bill Yoder. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Josiah's final resting place will be in Nauvoo Road Cemetery, Middlefield Twp, OH. Arrangements have been entrusted to Best Funeral Home, 15809 Madison Road, Middlefield, OH. 440-632-0818.
