Joseph “Joey” Luke Plotts, 46, of Middlefield, OH, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, October 4th, 2025. He was born in Claridon Twp, OH on March 2nd, 1979, to Harvey “Gene” and Laura (Hull) Plotts.
He was a graduate of Cardinal High School and went on to work as an STNA, then most recently Mast Metals. Throughout high school and after he was a member of the Middlefield Volunteer Fire Department and an EMT. Joey loved camping, riding his motorcycles, and traveling with his beloved dog Sweetie and his childhood friends. He will be remembered for his ability to make, build, solve any problem, and cook anything. Joey had a special bond with everyone who loved him, from tie-dye to vinyl's, he would talk about it, learn about it or make it happen. Joey will be greatly missed by: his parents, sister Sara (Ryan) McNicholas; nieces Ashleigh and Breanne McNicholas and cousins and friends.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD AT 1:00 pm on Saturday the 25th of October at the Lighthouse United Methodist Church, 14780 Mayfield Rd., East Claridon. Pastor Karen Cico officiating.
