Joseph G. Hummel III

Joseph G. Hummel III, 60, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland, Sunday evening, September 22nd, 2019. He was born in Chardon, OH on January 1st, 1959 to the late Joseph G. and Mary Anne (Mirisch) Hummel Jr.

He was an Amish Taxi Driver for many years and enjoyed fishing and making crafts. Some of his favorite crafts were making airplanes out of pop cans, flowers from pencil shavings, and dreamcatchers.

Joseph will be dearly missed by: his son, Joseph “Joey” G. Hummel IV; sister, Marge (John) Pollari; brother, Bill Hummel; grandson, Liam J. Hummel; niece, Kristen Hummel; nephew, Nick Hummel; and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tim Hummel.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 2 P.M., SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19TH, 2019 at LIGHTHOUSE UMC, 14780 MAYFIELD RD, EAST CLARIDON, OH 44033 with Pastor Karen Cico officiating.
