John Robert Nosse, admired husband, son, brother, mishpochah and fellow Executive Leader went home to be with the Lord God on October 17, 2025.
John leaves his beloved Anna, his wife, behind as they greatly enjoyed times together where they could be the only people on an island still not run out of things to talk about. The Lord allowed great morning Bible studies and epic adventures to work together. These adventures began September 12th, 1999 when they decided ‘to pursue a relationship that could end in marriage’ culminating in them BOTH planning their own wedding together - in 2000. In 2018, they were their own general manager as they built their home in Lexington, OH. John has confidence that Anna’s art will encourage and inspire many people.
John was an Executive Consultant/Coach and Executive Forum Leader (CHRO, CFO, CXO) enabling executives from non-competing companies to learn from each other in a safe and confidential environment for a competitive advantage. It’s good to know what not to do and what doesn't work. It's lonely at the top and an executive roundtable leverages all the members experience is for better decision making.
Additionally, he was a speaker making 100+ appearances and a management and human resources professional with more than 20 years of experience. John had a quadriplegic disability and was taking his 'power chariot' wherever he went.
Prior to founding Nosse Consulting Group, LLC, John fulfilled an executive leadership role as the Director of Human Resources and Training for the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas (Superior/Felony Court in Franklin County, Ohio). Previous to that role, John worked as the Lead Labor Relations Officer within human resources at Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (Agency assisting people with disabilities to achieve quality employment and independence).
John earned a Master's Degree in Labor and Human Resources (MLHR) and BS in Business Education from The Ohio State University. Professionally in 2010, he passed the Senior Professional in Human Resources exam. The highest honor awarded through the Society for Human Resource Management. Certification demonstrates expertise in human resource management including: employee selection & placement, management practices, training & organizational development, employee/labor relations, compensation & benefits, health & safety.
He served on the Creative Living Board of Trustees (Creative-Living.com) for 14 years in multiple positions, including President and served on the Board of Wright Choice, Inc. (WrightChoice.org). John was committed to employment for people with disabilities as an employment skills trainer and mentor for the Governor’s Council on People with Disabilities Ohio Youth Leadership Forum for 10+ years. John was a Jesus Christ follower and was married to his wife, Anna.
