John M. Slaubaugh

John M. Slaubaugh, 80 years old, of Middlefield Twp, Ohio passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, November 3rd, 2024 at home while surrounded by his family. He was born in Middlefield, Ohio on February 24th, 1944 to the late Martin E. and Gertrude (Miller) Slaubaugh. John is once again reunited with his loving wife, Ida (Kauffman) Slaubaugh, who died January 6th, 1997. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

He will be greatly missed by: his children, Marvin (Mary) Slaubaugh, Arlene (Roy) Yoder, John (Emma) Slaubaugh Jr., Raymond (Martha) Slaubaugh, Roman (Maryann) Slaubaugh, Mary Jane Slaubaugh, Melvin (Miriam) Slaubaugh, Gertie (Mervin) Fisher, Michael (Elizabeth) Slaubaugh, Robert Slaubaugh; daughter-in-law, Linda (Josiah) Miller; 44 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

John is preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Ida; son, Andrew Slaubaugh; and 1 great-grandchild.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH, 2024 AT 16035 NEWCOMB RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop David Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Joey Mullet, Roman Mullet, Andy Miller, and Melvin Slabaugh. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. John’s final resting place will be in Miller Cemetery, Huntsburg, Ohio.
