John Izworski, 67 years old of Middlefield, Ohio, passed away Tuesday morning, February 11th, 2025 at Ohman Family Living at Briar. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. A Cardinal High School graduate, he built a career at Polychem, where he made many friends.
He was the devoted husband of Janet Izworski (née Alexander) and a beloved father figure to Jessica and Jennifer (Zachary Burzanko) Sharp. He was a proud grandfather to Jordyn, Makenzie, Taylor, and Calen; dear friends with Randall Sharp. John will be missed by his sister Cheryl (Mark) Ohtola, and his nieces, Jennifer (Edgar Wilson) Ohtola, Stephanie Ohtola, Christine Ohtola, and Elizabeth (Zak) Stefancin, along with his great nieces and nephews.
A passionate Cleveland sports fan, John never missed a chance to cheer on the Browns, Guardians, Cavaliers, or his Ohio State Buckeyes. His love for cooking brought family and friends together, filling every gathering with warmth and good food. A hardworking, fun-loving, and caring man, he will be deeply missed by all. John’s kindness, humor, and unwavering love for family and friends will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
