Joe J. Bricker, 64 years old, of Mesopotamia, Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, May 6th, 2026, at home while surrounded by his family. He was born in Mesopotamia, Ohio on July 15th, 1961, to the late John W. and Elizabeth (Fisher) Bricker. Joe later married his best friend and love of his life, Rebecca (Leslein) on November 13th, 1980. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and Bishop of Mespo South Church District.
He will be missed by: his loving wife of 45 years, Rebecca; children, Walter (Barbara) Bricker, Saloma (David Jr.) Yoder, Laura (Lester) Miller, Marvin (Lucinda) Bricker, Martha (Raymond) Miller, Sadie (Melvin) Detweiler; 30 grandchildren; 6 brothers; 5 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, infant son, Samuel Bricker, and 1 brother-in-law.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, SATURDAY, MAY 9TH, 2026 AT 4566 PARKS WEST RD., MESOPOTAMIA, OH with Minister Danny J. Weaver officiating. Pallbearers will be JR Stoltzfus, Robert Stoltzfus, Andrew Shrock, and Robert Byler. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Joe’s final resting place will be in Clark Road Cemetery, Mesopotamia, Ohio.
