Joe A. Weaver

Joe A. Weaver, 85 years old, of Troy Twp, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday morning, October 27th, 2024 at his home while surrounded by his family. He was born in Burton, Ohio on May 1st, 1939 to the late Ammon J. and Mary (Wengerd) Weaver. Joe later married his best friend and love of his life, Esther N. (Hershberger) Weaver on March 5th, 1964. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

He will be dearly missed by: his loving wife of 60 years, Esther; children, Sarah (Benjamin) Slaubaugh, Mary (Marvin) Slaubaugh, Crist (Elmina) Weaver, Leah Weaver, Katie (William) Schmucker, Neal (Susan) Weaver; 33 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; 4 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents; 1 grandchild; 1 brother; and 1 sister.  

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29TH, 2024 AT 18085 MUMFORD RD, BURTON, OH with Bishop Reuben Byler officiating. Pallbearers will be

Roy Miller, Marvin Shrock, Jonas Shrock, and Aden Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Joe’s final resting place will be in Sugar Loaf Cemetery, Troy Twp, Ohio.
