Joan Marie Fales Obituary

Joan M. Fales (nee McDonald), 80, of Middlefield, OH passed away at UH-Geauga Medical Center, Monday afternoon, April 1st, 2019. She was born in Middlefield, OH on March 16th, 1939 to the late Charles and Nettie (Trendle) McDonald. Joan later married Fred L. Fales on November 10th, 1957.

She loved her animals and raised many dogs, horses, and raccoons throughout her life. Joan also enjoyed doing crafts with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very outgoing and liked to be social and strike up a conversation with whomever she met. Joan further enjoyed reading, crocheting, and going to the Casinos.

Joan will be dearly missed by: her loving husband of 61 years; Fred; daughter, Valerie Fales; son, Gregory Fales; grandchildren, Jocelynn Molnar, Alex (Ashley) Fales, Austin Fales; great-grandchildren, Chance, Zoey, Kailyn, Madyson, Hunter; brother, Charlie McDonald; and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert McDonald.
