Obituary
Joan M. Continenza (nee Gugliotta), 90, of Mentor, OH passed away peacefully on November 27th, 2020. She was born in Cleveland, OH on May 27th, 1930 to the late Joseph and Ann (Lutsock) Gugliotta. Joan is once again reunited with her loving husband, Alfred S. Continenza, who passed away in 2002.
She enjoyed working with her husband at their family owned, Mr. C’s Pizza shop and traveling. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Joan will be greatly missed by: her children, Randy (Deborah) Continenza, James (Maria) Continenza, Mark Continenza, Kim Blumer; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Kaye (Tony) Minardo; brother, Thomas Gugliotta; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; loving husband, Alfred; son-in-law, Jeff Blumer; and brother, Joseph Gugliotta.
Joan’s family would like to thank the staff at the Enclave of Newell Creek for the excellent care they provided to her.
A PRIVATE MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL TAKE PLACE AT A LATER DATE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Hospice of the Western Reserve or St. Jude's Research Hospital.
