Jill Ann (Gichenko) Carter

Jill Ann Carter (Gichenko) 71, born on November 11, 1951 of Middlefield, Ohio and raised in Newbury, Ohio where she met the love of her life Frank Carter (Trapper). Together they resided in Middlefield, Ohio. Jill passed away Monday evening, May 15, 2023, with her loved ones by her side, losing her battle with lung cancer.

Jill, also known as the “Dancing Queen” to her close friends and family, was always the life of the party and you could find her dancing while listening to her favorite band, Tracer. 

She loved weekend trips to the cabin with her husband Frank and their grandkids. Jill especially liked splashing around in the lake with her kids and grandkids.

Jill worked very hard as a nurses assistant at Holly Hill for 28 years where she met many of her life long friends. 

Jill is survived by: her husband, Franklin Carter; daughters, Tracy Mancini (Parks) Jerry Mancini, Leslie Mighton (Parks) Arvin Mighton , Jillian Spangenberg (Carter); brother, Bill Gichenko (Georgia); sister, Gretchen Wolfe (Rich); 17 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. 

She was preceded in death by: father; William Gichenko; mother, Jane Gichenko; and sister, Kim Streisel.

She will be greatly missed by all.
