Jibriel M. Allen

Jibriel M. Allen, 21, of Chardon, OH, passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Saturday evening, August 26th, 2023 at the MetroHealth Hospital in Cleveland. He was born in Claridon Twp, OH on October 24th, 2001 to Jibriel Allen and Shasta Prince.  

Jibriel attended Newbury High School for his freshman and sophomore years, then graduated from West Geauga where he played football as a defensive end, safety, and wide receiver. He was funny, loud, and full of life. He was very protective of his family and friends, and loyal to those he loved. He would give you the shirt off his back regardless of whether he knew you or not. He enjoyed making people laugh. He was involved in fashion and design with VI Summers streetwear. He also enjoyed basketball, gaming, and listening to and writing music.

Jibriel will be greatly missed by: his loving mother, Shasta Prince; brothers, Miguel Allen, Terrell Allen, Phillip Allen; sisters, Ana Duncan, Lyric (Tim) Burton; grandparents, Magi (Gayle) Duncan; nephews, Wyatt Neuman, Dyllen Hibshman; and many aunts, uncles, and friends.  

He is preceded in death by: his father, Jibriel Allen; grandmother, Mildred Allen; and brother and best friend, Darnell Prince, who died with him in the accident.
