Jean M. Merhar

Jean M. Merhar, 78, of Warrensville Heights, OH, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, February 20th, 2025 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland, OH. She was born in Cleveland, OH on November 26th, 1946 to the late Joseph and Josephine (Kuhel) Merhar.  

She was a graduate of Garfield Heights High School and spent many years working as a nursing aide at the former Brentwood Hospital. Jean enjoyed going to casinos and playing slot machines.  

Jean will be missed by: her nieces, Sherry (Richard) Vannoy, Stacy (Richard) Collins; nephews, Ron Hodous, Rob (Krista) Merhar); brother, Alan (Sharon) Merhar; great-nieces and nephews, Ryan Vannoy, Victoria Vannoy, Brandon Collins, Ronee Collins; Matthew Merhar, Luke Merhar; and many friends.

She is preceded in death by: her parents and sister, Claudia Hodous; and brother-in-law, Ron Hodous.
