James Nelson Freeman, 65, of Hambden Twp, OH, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, February 15th, 2019 at the Louis Stokes Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. He was born in Ashtabula, OH on October 31st, 1953 to the late James H. and Helen Ann (Yonkers) Freeman. James is once again reunited with his loving wife, Florence Ann (Fox) Freeman, who died many years ago.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran who enjoyed joking around, fishing, and spending time with his brothers, nephews, and grandchildren.
James will be greatly missed by: his daughter, Carla (Michael) Bice; grandchildren, Jessica, Carolyn, Michelle; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Chloe, Madison, Mickey; siblings, Bobbie (Joe), Amy, Ruth, Nancy, John (Annie); special nephew who was a dear friend and provided great support, Allen; other nephews, Travis, John, Dennis; and many friends. He is preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Florence; son, Donald R. Freeman; and brother, Dennis.
FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL BE RECEIVED FROM 5-7 P.M., FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22ND, 2019 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH 44062. A Military Service will be conducted at 7 P.M.
