Jacklyn Lee Gingerich (nee Crabtree), 67, of Windsor, OH, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, May 11th, 2025 at her home while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Salem, OH on October 3rd, 1957 to Harley and Janet (Jones) Crabtree. Jacklyn later married her best friend and the love of her life, Ken Gingerich on October 21, 1978.
We celebrate the life of Jacklyn Gingerich whose beautiful soul was dedicated to God, her family, her church and her career in nursing. She reflected God’s love for us with her unconditional love, and through her grace and selflessness that impacted so many. Her love of the Lord was not a secret and shone through her as she served on the worship team, prayer chain and the fellowship committees at New Mercies Community Church.
Jacklyn spent most of her career helping others at UH-Geauga Medical Center, finishing her career as the hospitals nursing supervisor. At home, she was one of the early homeschooling pioneers in the State of Ohio by teaching her own children.
She had a special soul who found the beauty in everyone & everything. Jacklyn loved spending time with her family and friends, loved reading and taking walks.
Jacklyn left a legacy with her husband, Ken, her 4 children, and 13 grandchildren and will be deeply missed. Left behind to mourn her loss is: her loving husband of 46 years, Ken; mother, Janet; children, Erika Borden, Christine (Jeff) Lyons, Jason (Jennifer) Gingerich, Mitchel (Paige) Gingerich; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Judy (Dale) Nabozny and Sue Dubyne; and many friends.
She is preceded in death by: her father, Harley; and brother-in-law, Phil Dubyne.
A PRIVATE FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD IN PLEASANT HILL CEMETERY, BURTON TWP, OH.
