Ida Mae Byler (nee Miller) 75 years old, of Mesopotamia, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday morning, July 27th, 2025 at home while surrounded by her family. She was born in Middlefield, Ohio on September 10th, 1949 to the late Albert M.P. and Gertrude (Yoder) Miller. Ida later married her best friend and love of her life, Andy A. Byler, Jr. on May 29th, 1975. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She will be missed by: her loving husband of 50 years, Andy; children, Linda (Owen) Miller, Miriam (Chris) Byler, Marvin (Barbara Ann) Byler, Andrew (Sara Ann) Byler, Betty (Jonathan) Yoder, Erma (Samuel) Weaver; 34 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 1 sister; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ida Mae is preceded in death by: her parents and 2 infant grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, WEDNESDAY, JULY 30TH, 2025 AT 5041 DONLEY RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop William Detweiler officiating. Pallbearers will be Crist Byler, Melvin Miller, Andy Byler, and Bill Yoder. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Ida Mae’s final resting place will be in Wilcox Road Cemetery, Mesopotamia, Ohio.
