Howard W. "Bill" Brebeck

Howard W. "Bill" Brebeck, 71, of Warriors Mark, PA passed away the morning of Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 14th, 1949 to the late Howard G. and Leona (Graham) Brebeck.

Bill received a degree in Horticulture from Delaware Valley University in 1972 and maintained a lifelong love of plants and the forest. He could name every mushroom and animal in the woods. His food plots were legendary, the clover was up to one’s knee. Though some of the things he did and the way he lived his life in the moment might have seemed shortsighted, he maintained a long term vision for the important things in his life. He loved to plant and nurture trees and tend a garden. He cared deeply for the business he built over 29 years. His business partners, employees, and customers were also his friends. He had a lifelong passion for hunting and fishing and mentored many others in the outdoors. He traveled extensively to hunt and fish places like Newfoundland, New Mexico, Russia and Alaska. Bill was a man of few words, but nothing else. He raised three children and was generous of heart, time, patience, forgiveness, energy, and an occasional joke. He gave more than he received. In his final year he gave his family time to have two more grandkids, a last Thanksgiving, one more birthday for his grandson, Reid, the time for his daughters to hold his hand and one more deer season. And like she always does, the apple of his eye, made him proud one more time and gave him one more buck.

He will be greatly missed by: his daughters, Jessica (Nicholas) Chehames, Emilie (Benjamin) Heller; son, Dorian L. (Meredith) Brebeck; grandchildren, Samantha Heller, Reid Heller, William Brebeck, Kayleigh Chehames; sisters, Doris Weibusch, Nancy Petkosek; and many nephews and friends.

Howard is preceded in death by: his parents. Bill will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery in Novelty, Ohio near his parents.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 12PM, SATURDAY, MARCH 27TH, 2021. Family and friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of the service.
