Hazel Mae Reese, 97, recently went into the arms of our Lord and Savior on December 10th, 2025. She was born in 1928 to Earl and Martha Reihard. She married her husband, Raymond Reese in 1950 and raised six children. She worked as a postal clerk for quite a few years and eventually became the postmaster.
She loved pigs, turtles, hummingbirds and mushrooms. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles as well as sewing, bowling and writing letters to friends and family. Hazel also loved to sing and at one point, sang with her sister on a radio program. She was also an artist and had painted several items for people on canvas, from just a small photo. She played the saxophone in school and the organ at her home. Hazel enjoyed reading her Bible as well as Christian love stories. She loved the Lord and was a born-again Christian.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Emmitt Reihard, sister, Alfreda Yeversky, her son Lynn Reese, granddaughter Terra Reese, great grandson, Trent Mooney and son-in-law David Howard.
