Harry B. Phelps Jr., 74, of Middlefield, OH, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 5th, 2021 at his home. He was born in Cleveland, OH on July 20th, 1946 to the late Harry B. and Virginia (Simmonetti) Phelps Sr.
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran who worked many years as a diesel truck mechanic. Harry loved riding his Harley Davidson and was a member of the Sly Fox MC. When not riding, he liked spending time fishing, being outdoors, and meeting friends at the Middlefield VFW Post #9678, where, as a member, he enjoyed being Santa Claus for their annual Christmas parties. Harry was a good soul.
He will always be remembered by his good nature, willingness to help others, and his deep laughter. He was never one to complain and always looked to the bright side of things.
Harry will be missed by: his son, Jason Phelps; daughter, Joni Phelps; grandchildren, Julius and Avery Asa-Marie; sister, Rosellen “Pinky” Rummel; close friend, Leo; ex-wife and good friend, Susan Phelps; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He loved and lived life passionately and “we will miss you greatly, Pop. Love you dearly and always” Love, Jason and Joni.
