Harold E. Fischer Jr., 93, of Bedford Heights, OH, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, November 3rd, 2025 at Burton Healthcare Residence. He was born in Warrensville Heights, OH on June 22nd, 1932 to the late Harold E. Fischer Sr. and Eleanore (Reynolds) Stacy. Harold later married his best friend and love of his life, Katherine Lupica on August 10th, 1963.
He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Korean War. He later worked 25 years in inside sales at Harshaw and was a member of The Independent Order of Foresters for over 20 years. He spent most of his past time playing golf, bowling, going dancing with his wife and their friends and was an avid Indians and Browns fan but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his beloved grandchildren and great-grandson.
Harold will be greatly missed by: his loving wife of 62 years, Katherine; daughter, Ginger (Mark) Rhoades; grandchildren, Ashley Moodie, Courtney (Brad) Urbanski, Ben Rhoades; great-grandchild, Lincoln Urbanski; and many family and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; son, Jeffery Fischer; grandson, William Rhoades; sisters Tootsie, Donna, and Beverly; brother in-laws Roy, Bob, Ross, Carl; and sister-in-law Beverly.
A MEMORIAL MASS WILL BE HELD ON November 22nd, 2025, AT ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 340 UNION ST., BEDFORD, OH 44146. Visitation at 11am followed by Mass at 12p. Burial will be held at MT. HOPE 5000 HARPER RD, SOLON OH 44139 immediately following the service.
