George W. Saylor Obituary

George W. Saylor, 62, of Burton, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, March 11th, 2021 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland, OH. He was born in East Cleveland, OH on June 7th, 1958 to the late Marvin and Ruth (Baxter) Saylor.

He enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and the Indians play on tv. His cat Peanut was very special to him. One of his greatest pleasures was taking road trips to go visit his granddaughters.

George will be dearly missed by his best friend and wife, Leona Andel; son, Chris Saylor; granddaughters, Hayley Jo Saylor and Madelyn Saylor; brothers, Marvin Saylor, Edward (Brenda) Saylor; sisters, Linda (Larry) McKinnon, Patricia (Rick) Ditto, Roberta (Paul) Angus, Christine LeMaster; half-sister, Loretta Ditmer; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents; and brother-in-law, Donald LeMaster and sister-in-law, Kathy Saylor.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 11:00 AM, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 17TH, 2021 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH. Family and friends will be received from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 16th, 2021 at the funeral home. George’s final resting place will be in Welton Cemetery in Burton, OH.
