Frederick "Gene" E. Hatch Obituary

Frederick “Gene” E. Hatch, 85, of Middlefield Twp, passed away peacefully at home early Saturday morning, September 29th, 2018. He was born in Middlefield, on January 26th, 1933 to the late Elvern and Della (Hoffman) Hatch. Gene is once again reunited with his loving wife, Sherrill, who died in 2014.

He was a mechanic who loved farming and restoring tractors. Gene enjoyed visiting the Lake and animals. He was also one of the original members of the Middlefield Fire Department serving as an Engineer.

Gene will be greatly missed by: his loving children, Darlene (Randy) Reese, Don (Barb) Hatch, Doug (Kathy) Hatch; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Linda Benton. He is preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Sherrill; daughter, Theresa Zeigler; siblings, Ronnie Hatch, Bill Hatch, Betty Blair; and brother-in-law, Glen Benton.
