Esther M. (Yoder) Troyer

Esther M. Troyer (nee Yoder), 84 years old, of Middlefield Twp, Ohio passed away peacefully Saturday morning, August 9th, 2025 at home while surrounded by her family. She was born in Parkman, Ohio on January 28th, 1941 to the late Menno D. and Elva (Hostetler) Yoder. Esther is once again reunited with her loving husband, Roman, who died June 15th, 2021. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

She will be missed by: her children, Marty (Ida) Troyer, Dorothy (David) Miller, Ada (Ivan) Schmucker, Roman (Martha) Troyer Jr., Betty (Levi Jr.) Yoder, Barbara (Jonas) Schmucker; 43 grandchildren; 96 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Esther is preceded in death by: her parents and husband, Roman.

FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD with Bishop Crist C. Miller officiating. Pallbearers were Mervin Yoder, Melvin Weaver, Vernon Yoder, and Daniel Hochstetler. Esther’s final resting place is in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, Ohio.
