Esther A. Byler (nee Detweiler), 76, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, June 27th, 2021 at her home and surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chardon, OH on May 31st, 1945 to the late Andy R. and Martha Daisy (Yoder) Detweiler. Esther later married Melvin A. Byler on June 23rd, 1966. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She will be missed by: her loving husband of 55 years, Melvin; children, Andy (Mary Ellen) Byler, William (Sally) Byler, Nancy (Dan) Yoder, Melvin (Laura) Byler, Freeman (Barbara) Byler, Atlee (Catherine) Byler, Erma (Reuben) Miller; 46 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; 2 sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Esther is preceded in death by: her parents; 1 great-grandchild; 5 brothers; and 1 sister.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, JUNE 30TH, 2021 AT 13430 CLAY ST., HUNTSBURG with Bishop Lester Hostetler Jr. officiating. Pallbearers will be Fred Hostetler, Joe Hostetler, Ray Byler, and Danny Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service at 13481 Clay St., Huntsburg, Ohio. Esther's final resting place will be in Miller Amish Cemetery, Huntsburg, OH.
