Erwin J. (Byler) Miller

Erwin J. Miller, 92 years old, of Orwell Twp, Ohio passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, January 2nd, 2024 at his home while surrounded by his family. He was born in Warren, Ohio on December 12th, 1932 to the late Joe P. and Amanda (Miller) Miller. Erwin is once again reunited with his loving wife, Saloma, who died July 25th, 2020. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

He will be missed by: his children, Melvin Miller, John Henry (Miriam) Miller, Barbara (Allen) Miller; son-in-law, Uria Miller; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Erwin is preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Saloma; daughter, Edna Miller; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, SUNDAY, JANUARY 5TH, 2025 AT 10201 PENNIMAN RD., ORWELL, OH with Minister Jake Kurtz officiating. Pallbearers will be David A. Miller, Nathan Yoder, Mark Yoder, and David R. Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service at 8676 Penniman Rd., Orwell. Erwin’s final resting place will be in Clover Hill Cemetery, North Bloomfield, Ohio.
