Ervin J. Miller, 94, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, May 14th, 2020 at his home and surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Middlefield, OH on November 4th, 1925 to the late Joe M. and Saloma E. (Byler) Miller. Ervin is once again reunited with his loving wife of 63 years, Sadie J. (Miller) Miller, who died August 9th, 2011. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and also an ordained Minister of the Johnsons Corner Northeast Church District.
He will be missed by: his children, Ella (Jonas) Byler, Esther (Enos) Kauffman, Elizabeth Miller, Mary (Andrew) Yoder, Melvin (Nancy) Miller, Martha (Philip) Miller, Ervin (Barbara Jane) Miller, Mervin (Betty) Miller, John (Ruth) Miller, Alma (Danny Ray) Miller, Alta (Sam) Farmwald, Andy (Irma) Miller, Joe (Esther) Miller, Sadie (Marvin) Miller; 68 grandchildren; 208 great-grandchildren; 35 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother, 3 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ervin is preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Sadie; daughter, Elva Miller; 2 grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 4 sisters.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., SUNDAY, MAY 17TH, 2020 AT 15885 DURKEE RD., MIDDLEFIELD with Bishop John H. Byler officiating. Pallbearers will be Danny Ray Byler, Andrew Byler, Jonas Miller, and Reuben Yoder. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Ervin’s final resting place will be in Miller Cemetery, Huntsburg, OH. In lieu of attending, please send a card to the address above.
