Emma W. (Wengerd) Shrock

Emma W. Shrock (nee Wengerd), 91 years old, of Parkman, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, February 4th, 2025 at her daughter’s home while surrounded by family. She was born in Middlefield Twp, Ohio on December 23rd, 1933 to the late Noah M. and Emma (Miller) Wengerd. Emma is once again reunited with her loving husband, John J. Shrock, who died December 13th, 2019. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

She will be missed by: her children, Fannie (Jonas) Miller, Ellen (Abner) Miller, Owen (Amanda) Shrock, Miriam (Sam) Miller, Martha (Steven) Yoder, Noah (Edna) Shrock, Edna (Raymond) Miller,  Ida (Raymond) Yoder, John (Kathryn) Shrock, Norma (Daniel) Schmucker, Marvin (Dorothy) Shrock, Ruth (David) Miller, Raymond (Susie) Shrock, Betty (David) Mullet; son-in-laws, Levi Byler and Roman Miller; 132 grandchildren; 302 great-grandchildren; 1 sister; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Emma is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, John; daughters, Ada Byler and Emma Miller; 4 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers; and 4 sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7TH, 2025 AT 16927 TAVERN RD., BURTON, OH with Bishop Neil E. Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Allen Miller, John Byler, Albert Yoder, and Marty Schmucker. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Emma’s final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, Ohio.
