Emma J. Yoder (nee Byler), 87 years old, of Huntsburg, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday evening, June 28th, 2026, at home while surrounded by her family. She was born in Middlefield, Ohio on September 20th, 1938, to the late John S. and Elizabeth (Miller) Byler. Emma is once again reunited with her loving husband, Daniel J. Yoder, who died December 13th, 2016. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She will be missed by: her son, Joseph D. (Nancy) Yoder; grandchildren, Matthew Yoder, Danny Ray Yoder, Hannah Yoder, Mary Ellen Yoder, Emma Yoder; 2 great-grandchildren; and many friend.
Emma is preceded in death by: her parents and husband, Daniel.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, WEDNESDAY, JULY 1ST, 2026 AT 12989 CLAY ST., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Albert A. Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Urie Bender, David Bender, Dan Bender, and Rudy Wengerd. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service at 13067 Clay St., Middlefield. Emma’s final resting place will be in Miller Cemetery, Huntsburg, Ohio.
