Emma J. (Shrock) Miller

Emma J. Miller (nee Shrock), 61, of Troy Twp, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, October 31st, 2023 at home with family by her side. She was born in Chardon, Ohio on January 15th, 1962 to John J. and Emma N. (Wengerd) Shrock. Emma later married her best friend and love of her life, Roman A. Miller on November 4th, 1982. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

She will be dearly missed by: her loving husband of 40 years, Roman; her mother, Emma; children, Norman (Ellen) Miller, Robert (Ruth) Miller, Edna (Marlin) Kauffman, Leona (Daniel) Byler, Ellen Miller, Marvin Miller, Ida (Robert) Bricker, Martha (Chris Jr.) Bricker, Marlin Miller; 26 grandchildren; 5 brothers; 9 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Emma is preceded in death by: her father, John and 1 sister.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD, 2023 AT 17100 JUG RD., BURTON, OH with Bishop Robert Kurtz officiating. Pallbearers will be Urie Byler, John Yoder, Lester Byler, and William Bricker. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service at 17199 Jug Rd., Burton, OH. Emma’s final resting place will be in Sugar Loaf Cemetery, Troy Twp, OH.
