Emanuel J. Hershberger

Emanuel J. Hershberger, 84, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully Sunday morning March 21st, 2021 at his home while surrounded by his family. He was born in Middlefield, OH on September 6th, 1936 to the late Joni J. and Mattie J. (Schmucker) Hershberger. Emanuel later married Sara Troyer on March 28th, 1957. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He will be missed by: his loving wife of 64 years, Sara; children, Betty Yoder, Emanuel (Martha) Hershberger Jr., Robert (Sylvia) Hershberger; 19 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers; 4 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Emanuel is preceded in death by: his parents; 3 infant sons; son-in-law, Joe Yoder Jr.; 3 brothers; and 1 sister.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24TH, 2021 AT 16070 NEWCOMD RD., MIDDLEFIELD with Bishop Pete Hostetler officiating. Pallbearers will be Joey Mullet, Marvin Schmucker, Melvin Slabaugh, and Chester Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Emanuel's final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, OH.
