Elwin “Jim” P. Weaver, 81 years old, of Parkman, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, December 31st, 2024 at home while surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Parkman on May 24th, 1943 to the late Pete H. and Emma (Miller) Weaver. Jim later married his best friend and love of his life, Sarah Mae (Miller) Weaver on April 30th, 1964. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He will be dearly missed by: his loving wife of 60 years, Sarah Mae; children, Erma (Jerry) Byler, Elwin (Emma) Weaver Jr., Chester (Susan) Weaver, Marty (Ada) Weaver, Marianne (Gideon) Yoder; 44 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; brother John (Betty) Weaver; 3 other sister-in-laws; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Jim is preceded in death by: his parents; 1 grandchild; 5 brothers; 2 sisters; and 1 sister-in-law.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, FRIDAY, JANUARY 3RD, 2024 AT 16434 HOSMER RD, MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Eli Yoder officiating. Pallbearers will be John Byler, Freeman Troyer, Raymond Mast Jr., and Joey Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Jim’s final resting place will be in Weaver Cemetery, West Farmington, Ohio.
