Elizabeth “Betty” J. Lucas (nee Schanzlin), 76, of Troy Twp, passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, February 24th, 2021 at Heather Hill Care Communities in Munson Twp. She was born in Bedford, Ohio on May 1st, 1944 to the late Albert and Margaret J. (Hackedorn) Schanzlin.

She was worked as a housekeeper at Holly Hill for many years before retiring. Betty enjoyed doing crossword and word search puzzles. She also had quite the sweet tooth, especially for ice cream. Betty loved watching the Cleveland Browns and Indians on tv. Her greatest love though was spending time with her children, and grandchildren.

Betty will be greatly missed by: her children, Karl (Linnea) Lucas, Cheryl (Chris) Kortan, Kathleen (Doug) Lucas; grandchildren, Jonah, Alyssa, Alex; sister, Mary Primosch; nephew, Michael Primosch; niece, Lisa (Angel) Ocasio; great-nieces, Arianna, Isabella; and many friends.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, Albert and Margaret; and brother-in-law, Alan Primosch.

A GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE.
