Elizabeth "Betsy" (Benes) Paradise

Elizabeth “Betsy” Paradise (nee Benes), 67, of Chardon, passed away unexpectedly at her home February 19th, 2020. She was born in Cleveland, OH on July 29th. 1952 to the late Edward A. and Barbara (Lytle) Benes.

She lived a life of service and instilled these values in her 3 children. Betsy spent most of her career as a Hospice Nurse, taking care of others who could not take care of themselves.

Betsy will be missed dearly by: her children, Adam (Samantha) Sherwin, Brian (girlfriend, Wendy Delgado) Sherwin, and Sarah (fiancé, Jeremy Cohen) Paradise; her siblings, Matthew (Judy) Benes, Martha (Sean) Benes-Ward; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Per Betsy’s wishes, no services will be held. Donations in Betsy’s memory are requested to be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or by visiting their website at stjude.org.
