Eli M. Yoder, 70, of Mesopotamia, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, June 28th, 2020 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. He was born in Chardon, OH on September 5th, 1949 to the late Mahlon J. and Fannie R. (Detweiler) Yoder. Eli later married Nancy H. Yoder on August 13th, 1970. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He will be missed by: his wife of just under 50 years, Nancy; children, Dan (Nancy) Yoder, Noah (Clara) Yoder, Eli (Barbara) Yoder Jr., Susan (Wallace) Burkholder, Urie (Carolyn) Yoder, Homer (Mary Ann) Yoder, Owen (Bertha) Yoder, Laura Yoder, Joe (Rhoda) Yoder, Rudy (Regina) Yoder, Rhoda (Daniel) Barkman, Marvin (Rebecca) Yoder; 48 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers; 4 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Eli is preceded in death by his parents and 2 grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, JULY 1ST, 2020 AT 7921 GIRDLE RD., MESOPOTAMIA with Bishop John Allen Kurtz officiating. Pallbearers will be Andy Hershberger, Melvin Mast, Paul Bontrager, and John Kurtz Jr. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Eli's final resting place will be in Clark Road Cemetery, West Farmington, OH.
