Eileen V. (Timko) O'Hara

Eileen V. O’Hara (nee Timko), 80, of Newbury, OH, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, July 30th, 2025 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. She was born in Cleveland, OH on July 25th, 1945 to the late Joseph and Esther (Van Hoozer) Timko.

Wife of Robert, sister of Rose Eckl (deceased),  aunt of Marie, Joanne, Lucy, Carol, Jon and Davey, great-aunt of 9, great-great-aunt of 4,  great-great-great-aunt of 1.

Eileen worked in radio at WHK, WIXY and WJW. She enjoyed walking, having logged more than 33,367 miles. She also loved gardening and entered many times in the Great Geauga County Fair where blue ribbons were often awarded for her work in flowers and handcrafted items. She especially enjoyed her many animals.

Services were private. A tribute to her life will be held at a later time.

Any contributions should be made to the Saint Jude Children's Hospital or any animal foundation.

Eileen will be greatly missed by: her loving husband of 40 years, Robert and many friends
