Edna Y. (Yoder) Bender

Edna Bender (nee Yoder), 62, of Parkman, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, January 11th, 2022 at her son’s home while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Claridon, OH on September 28th, 1959 to the late Daniel T. and Naomi (Schmucker) Yoder. Edna later married Edward J. Bender on September 10th, 1981. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

She will be missed by: her loving husband of 40 years, Edward; children, Linda Ruth (Nelson) Miller, Roy (Sara) Bender, Laura Mae (Adam) Bontrager, Cindy Ann (Mark) Bontrager, 18 grandchildren; 4 sisters; mother-in-law, Elmina (Hershberger) Bender; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Edna is preceded in death by: her parents and father-in-law, Clarence L. Bender.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., FRIDAY, JANUARY 14TH, 2022 AT 15730 AGLER RD., PARKMAN, OH with Bishop Aden M. Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Bill Mullet, Marvin Miller, Chester Gingerich, and Norman Bender. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Edna’s final resting place will be in Weaver Cemetery, Parkman, OH.
