Edith Farabell Taylor (nee Kelley), 71, of Mentor, passed away Friday morning, January 29th, 2021 at Madison Healthcare Residence in Madison, OH. She was born in Little Harts Creek, WV on February 24th, 1949 to the late Marshall and Recie (Nelson) Kelley.
Edith grew up in West Virginia and lived most of her adult life in Ohio. She worked in electronics assembly until she retired in Tallahassee Fl. before moving back to Ohio. Edith never met a stranger, and enjoyed talking and lively conversation, She adored her family and spoke often of her children. Edith loved music and gospel songs were her favorite. Edith enjoyed dancing and was always the first one on the dance floor. She treasured her little Chihuahua dogs, T bird cars and making jewelry. Edith enjoyed fishing and spending time near water especially Lake Erie.
Edith is survived by her sister, Beulah “Cookie” Kelly (Norman) Rowe; sons, Richard (Kim) Music Jr., Douglas (Mariah) Taylor, Anthony Taylor, Frank (Angie) Taylor Jr.; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by: parents Recie and Marshall Kelley; her husband, Frank Sr.; her brother Thurmond E Kelley; her nephew, Thurmond E Kelley Jr.
