Duke Radzanowski , 9 years old, crossed over Rainbow Bridge Thursday, June 16th, 2022. He was a beloved family member to Tom, Kris, Kalynn & Evan. He came into the Radzanowski’s lives in October 2012 when they were on a family trip to Amish Country in Berlin Ohio. He was a young pup in a cardboard box with ‘Goldendoodle’ handwritten on the side of the box. Having horses but never a dog, they knew this sweet tiny pup needed to come out of this box and go home with them. They knew nothing about dogs and luckily Duke was an old soul who taught the 4 of them how to take care of and train a puppy. He made it easy for them.
Duke fit right in; he didn’t like loud noises or staying up late. He was the first to herd the family up the stairs as soon as the sun went down. He was a guard dog of not just his home and yard but any vehicle he was in. He traveled with his family everywhere they went as long as it wasn’t too hot outside.
Duke's favorite activities were jeep rides, playing in the snow, and long hikes with Dad. He loved his family fiercely (especially Dad) as well as his grandparents and many friends and neighbors. He was a neighborhood icon and the mascot to Kris’s local yoga studio. He even had a robust social media life on Instagram as ‘DukeZenDoodle’.
His family is heartbroken. Duke had so much more life to live and love to give.
Until we see you again Dukie-Dog. We love you. [❤️]
