Dorothy A. (Bogacki) Fritz

Dorothy A. Fritz (nee Bogacki), 90, of Burton Twp, OH, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, April 9th, 2022 at Burton Healthcare Residence. She was born in Cleveland, OH on October 30th, 1931 to the late Frank and Stella (Kniola) Bogacki. Dorothy is once again reunited with her loving husband, Albert “Butch” C. Fritz, who died November 20th, 2013.  

She worked over 27 years as a librarian at the Burton Library. Dorothy also spent time working for Burton Floral and Garden. She enjoyed reading, gardening, quilting, and doing other handicrafts.

Dorothy will be greatly missed by: her daughter, Sherry Hosmer; grandsons, Len and Ladd Hosmer; granddaughter, Heidi Hosmer; great-granddaughter, Etta Lynn Myers; and many friends.

She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Albert; son-in-law, Len Hosmer; brother, Earle Bojacki; and sister, Gertrude Penter.

Per Dorothy’s wishes, no services are to be held but she requested donations in her memory be made to the Burton Public Library, P.O. Box 427, Burton, OH 44021.
