Debra “Deb” Frost (Gingerich) passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020. In her home, surrounded by family in Sandusky, OH, she was called home after a dauntless battle with cancer. She was 62 years young. Debbie was born on August 9,1957 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH to her parents, Ray Gingerich and Edith Secoy.
She graduated from Berkshire High School in 1975 and spent most of her years in Geauga County; while also venturing to Georgia for some years in an effort to swim with the dolphins and spend time with family. Debbie enjoyed crafts and cleaning, but never simultaneously. She had an extensive collection of Betty Boop memorabilia and could quote most episodes of Unsolved Mysteries or Trauma: Life in The ER. Laundry was also a favorite pastime, much to the joy of the homes of family she often visited. Her sense of humor, bright blue eyes, and infectious smile will be missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting her.
Mrs. Frost is survived by her husband Jim Frost, daughters Amy (Shawn) Chamberlin of Crooksville, OH and Monica (Kris) Shepherd of Augusta, GA; her brother, Ken Gingerich of Pikeville, KY; sister Crystel Secoy of Augusta, GA and; grandchildren Kai and Azure Hoversland, Ari Shepherd, and Logyn and Rylee Chamberlin; grandnieces, Geary Azbel and Annavey Miller and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray Gingerich and Edith Secoy; her beloved sister Diane, nephew Dan Giles, sister-in-law Sandy Stump and beloved wiener dog, Choteau.
VISITATION, OPEN TO ALL WHO KNEW AND LOVED DEBBIE, WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 2:00 – 4: P.M., FRIDAY, JULY 3RD, 2020 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH 44062. Family and friends will the celebrate Debra’s life with a short service at 4:00 P.M., with her cousin, Pastor Dwayne Cummings, officiating.
