Darnell J. Prince

Darnell J. Prince, 23, of Chardon, OH, passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Saturday evening, August 26th, 2023 at the MetroHealth Hospital in Cleveland. He was born in Munson Twp, OH on June 27th, 2000 to Terray Miller and Shasta Prince.  

Darnell was a very outgoing, funny and charismatic young man. He graduated from James A. Garfield High School, where he played football as the G-Mens’ star wide receiver as well as playing kick return and defensive end. He enjoyed gaming and spending time with his many friends and family, and was very devoted to his loved ones. He had an entrepreneurial spirit, a great work ethic and had high hopes of success at his new job at Tarkett, Inc. in Middlefield, OH.

Darnell will be greatly missed by: his loving parents, Shasta Prince and Terray (Stephanie Matzek) Miller; brothers, Donovan Miller, Dakota Miller; sisters, Ana Duncan, Lyric (Tim) Burton, Samarah Chasteen; grandparents, Magi (Gayle) Duncan; nephews, Wyatt Neuman, Dyllen Hibshman; and many aunts, uncles, and friends.  

He is preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Jibriel Allen, who died with him in the accident.
