Daniel D. Burkholder Jr.

Daniel D. Burkholder Jr, 94 years old, of Middlefield Twp, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, May 6th, 2025 at his home while surrounded by his family. He was born in Burton, Ohio on June 12th, 1930 to the late Dan E. and Anna (Miller) Burkholder. Daniel later married the love of his life and best friend, Ida D. Yoder on August 28th, 1969. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

He will be missed by: his loving wife of 55 years, Ida Burkholder; children, Eli (Katie) Burkholder, Daniel (Lovina) Burkholder, Mose (Sarah) Burkholder, Marvin (Anna Marie) Burkholder, Melvin (Erma) Burkholder; 29 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Daniel is preceded in death by: his parents; 3 brothers; and 1 sister.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, FRIDAY, MAY 9TH, 2025 AT 13300 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Ray R. Mullet officiating. Pallbearers will be

John Mullet, Joseph C. Miller, Johnnie Byler, and John J. Byler Jr. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Daniel’s final resting place will be in Miller Cemetery, Huntsburg, Ohio.
