Dan J S Byler

Dan J S Byler, 75, of Middlefield, passed away Monday night, August 2nd, 2021 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. He was born in Chardon, OH on January 23rd, 1946 to the late Jake L. and Susie (Yoder) Byler. Dan later married Sheila Gingerich on October 17th, 1971. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and also Bishop of the Townline North Church District.

He will be missed by: his wife of 49 years, Sheila; daughter, Esther (Ervin J.) Miller; grandchildren; Aaron (Christina) Miller, Kathy Miller, Rebecca Miller, David Miller, Barbara Ann Miller, Lorena Miller, Rachel Miller, Rosanna Miller, Danny Miller, Andrew Miller, Karen Miller; 6 brothers; 2 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Dan is preceded in death by: his parents, Jake and Susie; son, David J. Byler; and 1 brother.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., THURSDAY, AUGUST 5TH, 2021 AT 6667 SOUTH WINDSOR RD., MIDDLEFIELD with Minister Noah Byler officiating. Pallbearers will be Andy Yoder, Cristy Miller, Sam Miller, and Jake Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Dan's final resting place will be in Nauvoo Road Cemetery, Middlefield Twp, OH.
