Dan D. Hostetler Jr., 81, of West Farmington, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, January 25th, 2020 at his home and surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Burton, OH on October 11th, 1938 to the late Dan M. and Emma J. (Gingerich) Hostetler. Dan later married Esther Hochstetler on November 14th, 1963. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and also Bishop of the Bundysburg Road East Church District.
He will be missed by: his wife of 56 years, Esther; children, Paul (Laura) Hostetler, Samuel (Arlene Hershberger) Hostetler, Daniel Ray (Martha) Hostetler, Laura (Paul) Miller, Andrew (Edith) Hostetler, Mark (Katie) Hostetler; 34 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Dan is preceded in death by: his parents, 1 brother, and 1 sister.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., MONDAY, JANUARY 27TH, 2020 AT 7226 CURTIS-MIDDLEFIELD RD., MIDDLEFIELD with Minister Ezra Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert E. Miller, Amos Miller, Leroy Miller, and John Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Dan's final resting place will be in Bundysburg Road Cemetery, Parkman, OH.
