Obituary
Crist J. Miller, 85, of Middlefield, OH passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon May 21st, 2023 at home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mesopotamia Twp, OH on July 17th, 1937 to the late Jeremiah J. and Ada (Miller) Miler. Crist is once again reunited with his loving wife of 66 years, Betty U. Miller, who died May 18th, 2023. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He will be missed by: his children, Dan (Clara) Miller, Bill (Katie) Miller, Dave (Ida) Miller, Esther Miller, Freeman (Erma) Miller, Crist (Lydian) Miller, Emma (Crist) Wengerd, Josiah (Linda) Miller, Betty (Dan) Detweiler, Urie (Emma) Miller, Fannie (Nevin) Byler, Jerry (Sarah) Miller, Ada (Owen) Detweiler, Martha (Jacob) Miller, Amanda (Andrew) Byler, Johnny (Betty) Miller, Susan (Raymond) Detweiler, 157 grandchildren; 165 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Crist is preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Betty; and 5 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD WEDNESDAY, MAY 24TH, 2023 AT 12836 HAYES RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Dan W. Byler officiating. Pallbearers were Paul D. Hostetler, David F. Miller, John H. Miller, and Mark W. Miller. Crist’s final resting place is in Miller Cemetery, Huntsburg, OH.
