Cooper Loomis

Cooper Loomis, 6 1/2 years old of Chagrin Falls, Ohio crossed the Rainbow Bridge, Friday, February 20th, 2026. He’s always there, shoving his body between my legs and the kitchen cabinets waiting for any “accidental” spills that he can scarf up!  He has a peculiar bark he uses when it’s time to go outside. He can hear either of our cars coming down the road long before any human ears can. And he has the most gentle “I love you” eyes that I’ve ever seen on a dog. And today is the first day that he’s not chasing spills or barking his outdoor bark. And today I didn’t get to look into his “I love you eyes”. He passed yesterday evening after a brief illness that should never have hit a dog so young!  We miss you Cooper!  I thank God that your pain is gone and I’m sure we’ll connect again one day when all my past amazing dogs hear me coming down the road to heaven long before any human ears can hear my arrival!
